Are you looking for a new and unique dining experience in San Francisco? Picture this:

“You are walking through vibrant streets with the smells of food and the sounds of people making that food. Everywhere around you are people, sitting, talking, sharing over steaming bowls of lhaksa, or pozole or ramen. A couple on a corner leans into a plate of tacos, or takoyaki or brisket. You could be anywhere, or everywhere, in the world. But, instead you are at La Cocina’s First Ever San Francisco Night Market.”

Count us in!

On August 17th, 2012, at San Francisco’s Alemany Market, the city’s first Night Market will open. Twenty seven vendors will participate, each making one delicious food or drink from all over the world. The event will also feature live music and guests are encouraged to bring a blanket to sit and enjoy the festivities.

This event is a benefit for La Cocina, a non-profit kitchen that trains women how to successfully open their own food industry business. Entrance is a $25 donation, and all food and drink is priced under $10 from there. The event will be from 6pm to 9pm. For more information, visit: www.sfstreetfoodfest.com/night_market.php

NOTE: La Cocina is offering FREE rides from the 24th St. Bart Station to the Night Market. Shuttle space is limited, be sure to reserve your spot early!
