New Summer Programs:

CISL students are actively engaged in their learning process through a project-driven English program. Students reinforce language skills, as well as develop new ones which will help them succeed in a postsecondary setting. Through a variety of projects and task-based activities, including debates, presentations, research, and teamwork they will improve their communicative and leadership abilities. The  Summer Junior Program not only provide students with an amazing academic experience, but also offer an opportunity to develop international friendships during an exciting, fun-filled summer!

2025 Course Offerings

Career & Business Development
Get ahead of the pack by acquiring the tools to land your first job or starting your own business venture. This course focuses on acquiring skills to enter the workplace and steps to take when setting up your own business.
(2 week course, B1+ English level required.)

English for Higher Education
Focus on academic writing and speaking for university bound students.
(2 week course, B1+ English level required.)

English for Future Leaders
A combination of speaking, listening, reading, and writing with a collaborative and team building approach to gain confidence and improve their communication skills.

CISL International Junior Programs offer:

  • Summer English camps for teens in New York City at Barnard College, Washington DC at Georgetown University, Los Angeles at Pepperdine University, San Francisco Bay area and University of California Berkeley, and San Diego, CA at the University of San Diego
  • Winter, spring and summer English language programs for teens at CISL San Diego (homestay) for groups and individuals
  • The opportunity to live and study at some of the most prestigious and beautiful campuses in the U.S.
  • Small English classes for teens (average 14 students/class) to ensure more speaking time and individual attention for each student
  • Option of three programs
  • Diverse classrooms with students from around the world
  • Afternoon activities and one full day excursion per week that immerse students in American culture (included in cost)

July English Camps in the United States

Experience an English camp for teens at one of the historic and iconic universities right in the middle of New York City. Students live  and take classes in Barnard College, minutes away from the hustle and bustle of New York City.  During the afternoon and weekends, students explore NYC and the Northeast Coast (including day trips to Philadelphia and Boston).

 Program Includes 20 English lessons per week, all meals, accommodation with Wi-Fi, daily activities. Lessons are 45 minutes.

Discover East Coast charm at its best in Georgetown, a historic neighborhood of Washington D.C. with 18th century architecture and cobblestone streets. On the beautiful Georgetown University campus, Junior Program English students become a part of the university that is the alma mater of numerous diplomats, judges, and U.S. Presidents. During their excursions, students venture to East Coast locations such as New York and Philadelphia.

CISL students enjoy the small-town feel of Berkeley and the excitement of nearby San Francisco, which is just a short trip away. As one of the most environmentally-friendly cities in the United States, Berkeley’s streets are lined with trees and its neighborhoods filled with parks and green spaces where students can enjoy the beautiful California weather and unique Berkeley culture.

Southern California charm meets classic campus beauty with Pepperdine University (LMU), a gorgeous university in Los Angeles, California. English summer program students live in the dorms of LMU and take classes on its beautiful and quiet campus, then spend afternoons and weekends exploring exciting Los Angeles and the rest of sunny Southern California.

Winter, Spring and Summer Homestay ESL Program for Juniors in San Diego

Live with an American host family and experience the nation’s culture to its fullest! With CISL’s January Junior Program Homestay, students live with a warm and welcoming host family and take classes at CISL’s beautiful and modern Downtown San Diego campus. Students participate in CISL-organized activities during the afternoon and Saturday, then spend Sunday with their host family, enjoying San Diego like a local.

Program Includes: 20 English lessons/week, breakfast and dinner every day, accommodation with Wi-Fi, activities on weekday afternoons and Saturday. Lessons are 50 Minutes.
