Come experience the relaxed vibe of Southern California on the beautiful University of San Diego campus. Our camp is for international teenagers ages 13-17. Our classes are taught by highly qualified instructors with a bachelors and/or master/s degree. The program offers one, two, three, or four weeks of classes, on campus accommodation with meals included, organized off campus activities in the afternoons, and one full-day excursion per week.
During the afternoons, CISL organizes activities for students to explore America’s finest city. On Saturdays, students see the best of the West Coast with excursions to Universal Studios, Sea World, and Los Angeles. Commuter (day) students are welcome. Students can participate in classes & activities and commute to the campus each morning. Please reference the 2025 Junior Prices & Dates for commuter pricing.
Summer English Camp at the University of San Diego
The San Diego Camp includes:
- Classes and accommodation on the beautiful University of San Diego campus, which has stunning views of Mission Bay, the Pacific Ocean, and San Diego
- Central location: San Diego’s beaches, Downtown, and Old Town are just minutes away
- 1 day trip to Los Angeles
- Optional California Coastal Trip
- Commuter Students: Day campers can participate in classes + activities and commute to the campus each morning.
Curriculum and courses for CISL’s camp in San Diego include:
- Three new courses: Career & Business Development, English for Higher Education, English for Future Leaders.
- The curriculum actively engages students in their learning process through a project-driven program.
- English classes are held on USD’s safe campus with modern facilities and manicured grounds.
- 20 English lessons, 45 minute lessons.
- Collaborate with students from a diverse set of countries and backgrounds.
CISL’s San Diego Camp offers residential accommodation options at the University of San Diego.
- Residential accommodations in spacious and modern on-campus suite-style dorms
- Full board included
- Wi-Fi access
- Laundry facilities (fee payable)
CISL’s camp in San Diego offers:
- Afternoon or evening activities such as visits to local beaches, barbecues, organized sports, and trips to the aquarium allow students to engage in socialization as well as cultural and physical activity
- Excursions provide the opportunity to further explore San Diego and other areas of Southern California and enjoy the beautiful local climate
- All-day excursions to exciting locations such as nearby Los Angeles

California Coast: 6 days/6 nights- San Francisco, Carmel, Monterey, Santa Barbara. Includes hotels (shared rooms), coach transportation/tickets. Last night in Los Angeles at the end of the trip (in hotel, shared room). Meals not included.
