Summer English Program at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles

1, 2, 3, or 4 week English Courses + Activities + Optional California Coast Trip

The Los Angeles English program for teens is held at Pepperdine University, a campus set on a hill over-looking the Pacific Ocean in beautiful Malibu, California. CISL’s Summer English Program offers students the chance to study at Pepperdine University for one, two, three, or four weeks and also includes an option for an additional California Coast Trip.

English Camp at Pepperdine University (Los Angeles)

CISL’s Los Angeles Junior ESL program offers teens a charming West Coast location to learn English.

Courses with CISL’s Los Angeles English program for teens include:

  • CISL-created curriculum actively engages students in their learning process through a project-driven English program
  • Classes on Pepperdine University’s stunning campus in Malibu, California
  • Small class size: 10 students per class on average (no more than 12)
  • 20 English lessons per week/ Afternoon Cultural Workshops

CISL’s English camp in Los Angeles provides:

  • Residence hall accommodation at Pepperdine University, known as one of the most beautiful campuses in California
  • Shared room/shared bath
  • 19 meals per week
  • Wi-Fi
  • Laundry facilities (fee payable)

With CISL’s Los Angeles English Camp activities, students have access to the most exciting areas on the East Coast.

  • Constant activity: CISL′s English Camp for teens in Los Angeles plans afternoon or evening activities Monday through Friday to provide students additional chances to socialize, exercise, and explore Los Angeles
  • Half-day excursions to some of the best museums, beaches, shopping malls, and restaurants in Southern California allow CISL′s Los Angeles ESL camp students to see even more of exciting LA
  • Full day excursions to some of the area’s most exciting amusement parks—including Disneyland and Six Flags—and to beautiful Santa Barbara and San Diego.
  • Optional California Coast trip to San Francisco, Carmel, Monterey, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles

Pepperdine (Los Angeles) International Junior Program Details
Classes

Classes: 16 lessons per week: from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm  (4 days a week) with a 10 minute break

and

Cultural Workshops: 4 lessons per week on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons 1:30 -3:10 pm. Students will participate in Cultural Workshops which focus on leadership and local venues/culture.
