Learn to fly in sunny San Diego! American Aviation Academy provides the training necessary for a career in aviation and offers training for both FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) and EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) licenses. The diverse student population includes many students from abroad and provides a unique learning environment, while San Diego’s beautiful climate provides more than 300 flying days per year.
School Highlights:
- Multiple programs and licenses to meet individual student career goals and needs - One of the few schools in the U.S. certified to teach students for the EASA (European) programs - Diverse international student environment - Campus easily accessed by trolley or the AAA shuttle, which runs daily - Staff, faculty, and curriculum catered to English learners - Excellent services for international students - Cost effective, efficient training: 200-300 hour flight programs approximately 8-14 months in length - San Diego climate provides more sunny days for flying practice than other locations in the U.S., which equates to quicker fulfillments of flight hours Location: San Diego, California Student Population: between 180 to 250 enrollments yearly Popular Programs Include: - FAA 141 and EASA private pilots license - FAA commercial pilot career path program - EASA commercial pilots career path program - FAA Helicopter Courses Housing: Housing is provided off campus with a shuttle to class every two hours.
